The “Makers” Community “Makers” are enthusiasts of DIY culture. They are often skilled in areas like crafting, engineering, robotics, and digital fabrication. They value creativity, innovation, and the hands-on process of creating something new from basic materials or technology. This group includes hobbyists, artists, engineers, and students. They share a passion for exploring how things work. They also enjoy creating new products or solutions.
How Les Deux Bayou S.T.E.A.M. Park Appeals to Makers:
- Workshops and Classes: Offering a variety of workshops that teach skills like metalworking, woodworking, electronics, and costume design. These are particularly appealing to makers who want to develop their skills or learn new techniques.
